| The Bangabandhu National Stadium Dhaka has the rare honor of being the only stadium in the world to have hosted Tests for two home nations. It was the venue for East Pakistan's first Test, against India in 1954-'55 and was also the venue for Bangladesh's first Test in 2000. It has, till recently, been the most famous cricket in Bangladesh and has been witness to many historical events. It was in this stadium that Bangladesh registered their first ever international win.
