The Westpac Park Hamilton was previously called the Seddon Park but changed its name in 1997 after a bank sponsored the ground's renovation. Located at the heart of Hamilton, the Westpac Park is a great stadium that provides the spectators a very picnic like atmosphere while watching their favorite players in action.
The stadium has been home to the Northern Districts' Cricket Association since 1956. The Westpac Park was awarded its first Test in 1990-'91 and thereby became New Zealand's latest Test venue. The ground has however not hosted too many Test matches and just four Tests have been played out at the venue. The ground has not been too lucky for the Kiwis with them losing one and drawing three Tests at the Westpac Park.
