Asgiriya Stadium Kandy
Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy is the home ground of the Kandy Cricket Club. It is the only test ground in the world which under the proprietorship of a secondary-level school- Trinity College. Asgiriya Stadium Kandy hosted its first test in 1983 when Sri Lanka played against Australia.

Asgiriya Stadium was scooped out of a hill and quite understandably considered one of the most beautiful of the cricket grounds in the world.



The pitch at Asgiriya Stadium, unlike the others in Sri Lanka offers generous bounce and favors fast bowling.
