The Kingston Oval, Bridgestone is a famous cricket ground in the West Indies. With a lot of history behind it, this ground is a much loved cricket stadium in the Caribbean island of Barbados.
Barbados is one of biggest tourist attractions of the West Indies, and the tourists pour in every time a cricket match is on at the Kensington Oval. This is seen the most when the England Cricket Team tour the place. England have an old connection with this ground as it was here that England played for the first time in the West Indies way back in 1895. The ground is also famous for having hosted West Indies' first ever Test. That Test in itself was very historic as it saw the first triple century being made in Test cricket when Andrew Sandham made a staggering 325.
The ground has hosted many international cricket matches as well as other sports like football and hockey. It has also been a favorite venue for many concerts and beauty pageants.
