Jason Gillespie was a fiery fast bowler from Australia. He made his debut against West Indies at Sydney in 1996. Jason Gillespie showed great promise early on in his career, bowling well into the 140 mark. Later on, injuries surfaced and forced him to adopt a shorter run-up, which caused a decline in his speed. Jason Gillespie's contribution as a batsman cannot go unmentioned. In April 2006, he set a world record by scoring a double century as a night watchman against Bangladesh.

Jason Gillespie required 71 test matches to take 259 test wickets at an average of 26.08. His ODI record is equally impressive, with 142 wickets in 97 matches. livescore.warofcricket.com gives information on Jason Gillespie and other Great Cricket Players.
