Simon Jones is a talented fast bowler for England whose test career has been more than once jeopardized by niggling injuries.
Simon Jones made his debut in 2002 against India. His promising performance earned him a ticket to the Ashes series in Australia. However on the morning of the first test, Simon Jones injured himself and was thus ruled out for the rest of the series.
Simon Jones has put up a great front against every injury and has bounced his way back to the team. He was a part of England's historic Ashes win in 2006. He finished the series with 18 wickets at an average of 21.00.
His injuries surfaced again and kept him out of the Pakistan tour and then the India tour in early 2006.
As a fast bowler, Simon Jones has received injuries on both his knees and his ankle too has not been the most reliable.
