Everton Weekes was famously a part of the "W" trio along with Clyde Walcott and Frank Worrell who made their debut together in 1948 against England. Everton Weekes was a brilliant batsman who used to let his bat do most of the talking. He set a world record of five consecutive Test centuries in 1948-'49, and almost made a sixth one too had he not been run out a few runs short. He almost had a habit of making consecutive centuries and made three such against New Zealand in 1956. Everton Weekes is also remembered for being in a record third wicket partnership of 338 with Frank Worrell, a West Indian record that still stands. He played a total of 152 Tests and scored 12010 at an amazing average of 55.34. He retired in 1958 and later served as an ICC Match Referee. livescore.warofcricket.com provides the profile of Everton Weekes and other cricketers around the world.
