| One-Day International Cricket matches have always been a rage among people of all age groups. Since these events are highly competitive, it becomes important for the batsmen to score as quickly as possible. And as these batsmen take their runs they make the mark of fastest hundred.
In the history of World Cup, it was the Canadian James Davison who scored the fastest century. Davison made a score of 111 in 67 balls and broke the record of Kapil Dev that he made at the 1975 World Cup. At the third place is Clive Lloyd who made 102 runs in 82 balls at 1975 World Cup. Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar are at the forth and fifth spot respectively.
