Tapash Baisya made his debut at the age of 19 years debut in the second Test against Sri Lanka in 2002 and he soon demonstrated his spirit with a composed half-century from No. 9 - his highest score in two years of first-class cricket. Tapash has the potential to build on his basic speed. He came in the limelight during Bangladesh's top-end tour of Australia in July and August 2003 and saved his country from the humiliation on a tough tour. He reflected similar performance in West Indies. |
